New to me, talking about the tubular platforms which currently have some type of non-slip tape on them. Just had seen some reference to something they called Eva foam put in place of the tape.

Sea Dek, Marine Mat, Gator Grip, etc is all EVA foam. I had Castaway Custom scan a few of my platforms in the past and added the foam instead of the rubber non skid tape.

Marine mat can cut your strips. I did the dxf files for the platform, so they could cut them out. If you want a copy of the dxf file send me your email address and I will be glad to send it to you.

Steel Outlawed, that's clean looking! Is that factory color or did you remove the platform and have it painted or powder coated? If removed, how was that job? Also, I'd be interested in that file, not sure where to go with it once received, but I'm at [email protected].

Thx
Ian

Not bad at all to remove most of the time the sealant has broken down so it comes off pretty easy. If your original platform was powder coated you will have to get it chemically stripped, because sand blasting will not get the coating off. I will email you the dxf files for cutting the strips for the traction. You can contact Marine Mat and send them the files then they will take it from there.

Aw, good to know! You're the first that I've been able to connect with that has actually taken theirs off. I had a small scuff size of my thumbnail that untill I found the RAL number, painter couldn't match. So larger and larger spray areas, turned into a nightmare. Looks pretty good now but I don't like that some is new paint, some is original powder coated, some looks new, some old, etc. So really considering a winter project.

Yours painted or powder coated?
