Event called " Gateway Marathon" - Palm Beach to West End / Bahamas and back to Palm Beach.
Hosted at the West Palm Beach 'Ben Hotel.... Wet pits, ( again) at the Sailfish Marina, on Singer Island.
All the boats will be in the wet-pits at Sailfish, Friday ( 7 th ), and record- breaking challenge - racing on Saturday ( 8 th ), starting & ending at the Sailfish Marina.

Nigel Hook's boat is sporting a brand new look..... Plus..... Fran Muncey was the Grand Marshal !! Fran's son, Roger Norman steered the boat, in the Palm Beach "Ocean Cup", this last weekend...... ( Roger owns SCORE, and invited Nigel to the Baja 500 a couple weeks ago to co- drive. A fun time for all !!

They are putting a complete video together ...combining the drone & helicopter footage..... It was live-streamed ... Maybe it's on the Ocean Cup website?
I will look later..... ( doing chores now)

Seen on Facebook the Fountain hit something and tore up the bottom, they managed to make it back to Florida and got it on the trailer but it is a mess.
Was sinking about 40 miles offshore.

Yea... I saw a cell-video he had.... The RayMarine is ruined..... The bottom looked like it went through a wood chipper. The bilge pump was throwing water out the rear, like a second rooster tail, on their way back. Also, the " Race Winning Brands" 'V' Skater may have ran over the same mystery object.....
