Upgrade your Mercruiser 5.0L, 5.7L with this Small block 400, 6.6L engine. Is a direct replacement for any 8 cylinder Mercruiser Engine. Depending on how it is setup in your boat, it will be approximately 400+ horsepower. Motor was built with the intent of marine application, can be used as automotive engine. Engine is 400 cubic inch, 4 bolt main, hard to find block. Engine has forged pistons, w/ chrome moly rings, SCAT crank and I-Beam connecting rods, H bearings, ISKY hydraulic cam lifters, Edelbrock large valve performance aluminum heads, GM performance roller rockers, Cometic head gaskets, Edelbrock performance intake manifolds, light weight aluminum fly-wheel, engine internally balanced, GLM light weight aluminum performance manifolds, new water pump. Full pulley system with alternator, power steering pump, closed cooling system comes with the engine if you choose to use it, or you can use your own. This engine is about 250lbs lighter than your average Mercruiser 350 Mangum Engine.
