Default Gen 6 Sea Pumps

Looking for input on replacement sea pumps. What is an alternative sea pump to use on these? Does Sierra make one? Is it reliable? Import from Amazon? Mercruiser direct replacement? I'm sure it is made in China too. I don't like oil drips and I am seeing evidence of them starting to go south.

They can be rebuilt. That being said, my water pressure runs on the high side and the seals did not hold on mine twice. I got a new compete Merc replacement from Michigan Motorz and no issues in 4 years

Griff, these were rebuilt last year and just starting to seep a little. One also has a new fuel pump. There has to be a better design. I've considered electric fuel pumps and gen 4 pumps. But not this year, maybe next.

Griff...what PSI is on the high side for you?

I have Sherwood bronze pumps. They're simple and well made. Easy rebuild for bearings and impeller. Cheap impeller kits.

With new impellers, they run 35psi at WOT. After the impellers get some hours, its around 30psi
