Not yet! The boat is a brand new build with a 6.2 LS3. No EFI has been purchased yet. Some day soon I hope to get the boat Titled which will require inspections and a survey to insure. I would like to use the Performance Design intake manifold for it's appearance and fit in my low ceiling engine bay. So the more I can learn about the world of USCG approved EFI, I won't have to waste $$ on items that won't meet Standards. Thanks!

Not an expert, but when I was putting my carb’d engines back in the boat, I looked up a lot of this because I could only use electric fuel pumps.
Basically, you’ll need a flame arrestor, fuel hoses that have a low permeation rating within USCG specs, and ignition protection on any pumps. The rest is up to you.
I’m sure others will chime in with more specifics.

Would the CG look when do a safety check, doubtful, but could it cause something to go boom would be my concern.
Another question, I boat in salt air, are any fully potted?

Thank You TomZ, Wildman, and Steve H! Your comments are greatly appreciated. One would think there would be a lot more EFI conversion hardware out there. It appears to me that almost all the new engine suppliers offer some good looking EFI engines. So where are all the DIY kits? Holly is one of the best that I've seen so far. Thanks!

Rookie, that was a great helpful read! Thank You! I have a stock GM marine built 6.2 LS3 and trying to go with a Performance Design intake. Check their web page out for the XS model. This whole package should be a shoe in. I would like to use Holley for all the other additional items needed to get this running. I learned a lot from your build, mines just a bit different. I seem to be over thinking the USCG approval thing maybe? Thanks!
