Greg Harris and Yvonne Aleman aren’t just grateful for their new DCB M37R catamaran—they’re grateful to be members of the DCB customer-family, https://www.speedonthewater.com/even...d-time-owners/

Just the way the air comes off the back of the factory cowl is very turbulent. I learned this from Myrick when we picked up a boat. All the different boat manufacturers are making different shaped fins or wings for the cowl with the main purpose of redirecting salt water spray, but some change the aero enough to let the boat get through the air a bit better. It was a carbon WP that runs 135 with 450s and without the fins you get quite a bit of turbulence. From the few runs we have done light on fuel and up at those kind of speeds it seems like its a mph maybe a touch more.
