I have a boat with 1075. One day when going out hose between header and tail burned. Header was very hot. Engine temp was good.
took boat out changed impeller in water pump checked all cooling system including oil cooler all is fine. No blockages anywhere. Pressure tested headers - they’re good. Ran the hose through header and tailpipe separately good flow coming out back.
when flushing header still heating up.
where should I look next?
thanks for the help

Intimid8,
Once again.... It's the stupid, simple sh!t. I tell everyone that asks, especially if it's something I really don't have a good answer for, "Start with the simple things." I boss of mine, back when I worked for another shop, would always say, "Don't go looking for zebras when a horse will give you a ride."
Thanks. Brad.
