Awesome boats and article - by chance I have met the man driving in the picture - was a big wood boat collector at one time and very nice guy.

The finest boats in the world. Period! Steve, Ben, Jeremy and the whole team are amazing people that have become good friends. We are honored to be on their list of HP suppliers

You know - for those of us interested, one of the early bird arrival activities for Boyne Thunder Run this week would be a small exclusive tour of the Van Dam factory. Maybe limit it to the first 10 ppl? THAT - would be neat!

Timely article Matt.

If I was 30 years younger I would love to go to work for Van Dam as a apprentice. 30 years ago I was building wood composite 65 custom sport fishing boats and as beautiful as they turned out they did not have the details and intricacies of these works of art.

When Van Dam's Alpha Z made its first appearance at The Lake Tahoe Concours d'Elegance, 25 years ago, my knees gave out. They never disappoint.
