Default Mercruiser 120 getting no spark

Hello, I just bought a mercruiser 120 inboard engine in a 17’ bonito boat. Engine is a 4cyl. Serial Number 5261624. The boat title says it is a 1989 but I’m not sure if the motor is original to the boat. I’m having trouble getting any spark. I have checked all the points. I am thinking something is wrong with the wiring but can’t seem to find an accurate wiring diagram anywhere or really anything about the motor because I can’t find any info based off of the serial number. Any help would be appreciated!!

Do you have positive voltage at + terminal of the ignition coil?

If so, disconnect the wire to the shift interrupt switch and see what that does.

I do have positive voltage at the + terminal of the ignition coil. I just tried disconnecting the shift interrupt switch wire and still no spark..
