Default 11 1/2 M.P.H. Speed Limit-Boats Over 35 Feet

This administrations new speed limit proposal, from Massachusetts down through Florida, to save the whales. 11 1/2 mph maximum for all boats 35 feet & over. FJB.

I guess the only silver lining is that all those limousine liberals on the east coast will finally have to reap what they sow. Those poor soles won't be able to go boating or eat their seafood. We'd be such a better union if we could just role up Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware into a single socialist state with only two communist senators. Maybe if we sprinkle on some more global warming they will just wash out into the sea.

Is this for bays, inland waterways or does it also apply to the open ocean?

I do most of my boating in the long island sound which this proposal doesn't seem to affect but it definitely covers a lot of ocean. Apparently the odds of striking these whales in one in a million. Overreach.
