This race would be a Sanctioned APBA local race, supported by the Great Lakes Silver Cup Series.

Who would be interested? We need racers, sponsors, patrol and turn boats, staff and volounteers. We have coast gaurd and City approval as well as two prim locations, one on each side of the river. We have a few quality sponsors and local tv and radio coverage, and I think we could get a large crowd.

So who is in and does anybody have any thoughts?

How about you break your boat out of retirement and take a victory in your hometown? That would be a great story for the Newspapers here.

I'd rather it be cleveland but cinci isn't to far I'd be glad to help out as a turn boat or patrol boat.

I talked to Ted Zoli about Clevland. The city doesn't want anythink to do with the race so the cancelled out Cleveland.

I agree, there is great support here! Heck, Meijer just gave the Speedway 2.6 mil + for the next 5 years.
