Default Keep blowing up X uppers, switch to XR Diesels?

Our 2009 Cobalt 373, twin 496 HO's has now destroyed 3 uppers in the last season and a half. Boat weighs 24,000 lbs, 24P XR props currently, 2.2 ratio Bravo X's. I need something that will be more reliable, and work with the current transom. Would be great to use the existing lowers I have ( now 4 of them... )

Currently I think the XR Diesel's are the best option, but perhaps there are other options I'm not aware of. I reached out to IMCO about their SCX drives, but unfortunately they do not offer anything for the through-drive / prop exhaust on the Bravo III's.

I did reach out to BAM via their site to inquire about XR diesels, will DM as soon as I get 10 posts.

Make your 9x quota posts here. All good.

12k lbs per drive is a lot of jam.

What is your cruise speed and rpm? RPM at WOT?

Do you have drive showers?

We typically cruise at 4200 RPM, ~35 MPH. WOT / Rev limiting at 5200.

And yes, drive showers + change oil at no more than 50 hours.
