Question Cupronickel 71 series intercooler cores

Thought there was a guy in Indiana selling some ... can`t find the ad.

I prefer the unmelted ones.

I went though this several months ago looking for cores that got melted down. Seems that they are getting harder to find especially the coopernickel ones. There are two options that I found. One is the blower shop for aluminum the other that had a set (4) of good coopernickel Mercury cores was Cobra Power. They seem to have a lot of older stuff, new and used. I had to modify them a little to fit my Whipple housings.

Maybe give these guys a call, they made a custom heat exchanger for an air compressor drier we had that was obsolete....gave them dimensions and photos of the old unit and they made a new one Bell Intercoolers

Bell intercoolers was a pleasure to work with , I gave him my measurements . he sent me a picture of what the intercooler would look like , and the shipment was right on time'.
