Prototype Joker history
I recently boat a race boat that was bought at an auction back east in 2012ish. I’m looking for any history. It’s a 1999 29’ Prototype. I believe it’s all Kevlar and glass, no wood. Hull #PRO28004A1999. I believe this means it’s a 28’ proto built in ‘99. #4 hull that was built. It was originally fluorescent green/purple/blue race livery. It has 2 vents a pad and notched hull, super light. It rides amazing, it wants to literally fly across the top of the water, a very weird felling for a deep v.
I pulled the whole boat apart back in 2021 for a full makeover, new interior new gel coat new engine/drive. I found a lot of repairs from its race days. Pleas if anyone knows anything about Prototype’s being raced or you know this hull reach out, I’d love to hear about it. Posting pics soon if I can figure out how….
