Wondering if anyone on here would be willing to let a guy borrow or rent a Rinda scan tool? Having issues troubleshooting a 525EFI. Don't really want to start firing the parts cannon if i don't have to.
I'm located just south of Chicago.

It started to die when coming off of plane. Anchored up for a little while and now it won't throttle above 1000 RPM when trying to get on plane. It just shuts down. But if I pull the throttle back immediately it will idle just fine. No alarms. I would also like to scan the engine hours as I have no idea where its at. Engine is not original to the boat.
The boat is currently for sale but I want to make sure it's right before I let it go to the next owner.

Honestly, it's worthwhile to just own one and keep it on the boat. That's what I did, and quite a few others once I suggested it. Perhaps go in with a few buddies and share the cost. I know I would never loan mine out to a stranger without a deposit that would cover replacement cost.
