New Suburban Z-71

Ok GM announced 0% 60 month deals on all SUV's yesterday so I went to the dealership and looked at them, priced them out, ect. So they have 3 Z-71 suburbans 2 new unmolested ones, and one that the owner took and has been driving for 3 weeks, and he just went on vacation, and it's at the airport and will be back on monday for me to take if I choose. This demo one is exactly what I would order, it has the DVD entertainment system, and 2nd row captians chairs, & no stupid XM radio.
Now my question is, technically this is a demo since it has 1500 miles on it or so, and how much less than invoice should I expect to pay. MSRP is $48,???, and with my GM discount it's $40,361.85, now what ammt below that should I expect to pay since this is a demo vehicle now?

That's exactly the kind of info I wanted to hear, thanks Wes. But do you get a gm discount? I would think they are alot less flexable on price when I'm already getting a full discount. They want to discuss price when the truck is there and I can actually get it. I want some opinions and ammo to try to save me some $$. Plus I really dont need a new truck so it's pretty easy for me to walk away if the price isn't right, but if it is right, man is that a nice truck!

oh I meant the GM employee discount for employee's and family members.
28ss 9% off sounds good, brings it to 36,728.81
I'll use this as ammo to try to say 36 is all I'm willing to pay, and see what happens. that's 3632.57 off is there more room?
I'm he kind of customer that salesman hate. I hope.

I don’t know if this is directly comparable, but I got precisely 20% off my Excursion back in February on a similar deal with less mileage. I’m assuming here that you are talking about a 2002 model. I’m not familiar with Z-71 suburbans and I am really surprised by that list price. What makes them so expensive? My list was something like $35K and that was top of the line, V10, etc. However, you will pay a little more for the zero percent financing.
Curious comment about the XM radio, what don’t you like about it?

UT, I think if I am not mistaking, the Z-71 is the Chevy version of
the GMC Denali, so this is what prices the truck to be more than
just the standard Sub.
As an option for you AR, you can check out the GMC Yukon XL with
what they call the 1SD pkg, I have this truck and it is loaded like
the Denali, but does not have the 6.0 motor and body kit
Either one is a nice truck, good luck

UT it's a 2003
Base Msrp on a 1500 suburban is 39006.00 plus $5034 for the Z-71 package, $1295 for DVD entertainment system, and a bunch of other bs $400 nickel and dime things like full leather, adjustable pedals, heated seats, folding heated outside mirrors. Sounds alot nicer than my old 97 tahoe 4 door. It just adds up quick I guess. 20% sounds good to me!
If I dont get the feeling that they are pissed, and I'm happy I'll walk away, but thanks for everyone for the advice.
