Default Kilo Event Cancelled

KILO EVENT WAS JUST CANCELLED....Just heard from one of the participants...

Sounds like everyone is pretty upset....

bummer, also Sarasota has 100% chance for rain Monday for the Kilo here that no one here even Knows about. If I advertised my business like this I would be out of business.

The Kilo in Sarasota is a 1 boat show, it is for Callan ONLY

just in---------Dave Scott and JT did an exhibition run. a 1/4 way through the run, they spun a blade off of the prop. no other damage reported. better at 140mph than 200mph....

It's an APBA sanctioned event to break the propeller driven speed record held by Russ Wicks at 205.3mph. I don't believe anything would prevent anyone from running the kilo. However, the event isn't an APBA Offshore sanction so Offshore Class records could not be set.
