Default Lake of the Ozarks Shootout Announces New Host Location For 2025

If the American Ethanol Mystic owned by Don Onken returns in an attempt to win its 11th straight overall Top Gun title at the 2025 Lake of the Ozarks Shootout in Central Missouri, it will be on a new course.

Seems like an odd spot. Low traffic, guess we’ll see how it goes.

I think that it will be easier to control waves, making it a safer course. The no wake area will probably be smaller than what it has been making it easier for spectators also. I like the change!

Doesn’t look like a lot of space for run off? Or run-up, or spectators? No more Kilo runs?

There is more space there than it looks like on paper. They could move the start back into the cove some as well.

PB2 really won't get used that much on Sat. Sunday may be an issue since a lot the visiting boaters head home.

Parkview Bay and Lazy Days condos will certainly get real popular for rental units that week.

Party cove revival right there folks

Hope they allow a path for boaters to get around to there so you can wait out the traffic jam
