Default wideband O2 gauges-whos the best

getting ready to order a wideband O2 gauge and sensors to use in a boat I am rigging and also for the cars to help carb setup. who has what brand and what do you like or dislike about it. not really worried about cost but hate to spend 600 bucks when a $400 one is better liked for the money.

I used Innovate’s DLG-1 on my 509s. That’s a fixed system though. The LM-2 is portable. Neither are cheap though.

I’m sure there will be other suggestions. Joe Garofalo had one that he really like that was good for portability with fire and forget carb set-ups… can’t remember what the brand was though.

Innovate. I have used the MTX-L in dash unit full time. I am considering getting the dual channel unit but haven't pulled the trigger. You will need to spring for the longer 18 ft cable if running the in dash unit. The unit has been flawless for 14 years, replaced one sensor and I run it full time. It is invaluable for trouble shooting. You can quickly determine if you have a fuel or electrical problem if the engine dies. Vapor lock, fuel pump failure etc will drive the AFR to 22+ upon engine stall. If AFR was normal during engine stall it is most likely electrical (ignition etc).

that is the one I am leaning toward. seems everyone like the innovate and the hand held says it data logs which would be nice as I cant always watch it when driving. have you used the data log and if so how do you like it? looks like the dual setup is around $700 or less so really only 2-300 more with a lot more features and it would allow me to use it in the boat and cars which I like.
