Turn prop shaft 10 times, count turns on upper, divide by 10.

Easier than trying to determine if shaft turns 1.35 or 1.5 times

for example -

prop x 10 and vertical shaft 15 = 15/10 = 1.5
prop x 10 and vertical shaft 12.5 = 12.5/10 = 1.25
