What a great chapter it has been for them. That said, for all of the resources put into a race team (money, time, emotion, equipment, travel, lost opportunity costs), I cannot imagine fielding a race team having a great ROI. In other words, I don't know that racing sells boats, or at least enough to make it worthwhile. I would not blame them for stepping back a bit from racing and just concentrate on events that puts them in direct contact with thier customer base. Thanks for a bunch of great years watching!

I think it would be cool for PBC and Tuff to connect. The new Tuff cat is out and they want to race superstock with it. A PBC partnership would bring a lot of stock class experience, talent, and props!

a raced vehicule sometimes attracts buyer !

30 years ago, i sold a 1991 camaro that was raced in the canadian player's / GM series... Roll cage was taken out, all painted white, back in its original trim...
i showed the car to a lady. My ad stated: winter stored, only driven 8 week end in the summer !
I had left the race log book in the glove compartment. Stamped at the Toronto molson indy, vancouver molson indy. Montreal Formula 1 grand prix, so on and so forth...

I was 100% convinced she would run away when I would share the truth...
I explained her it was maintained over the top vs an everyday vehicule, and you know what ?

She was so impressed and happy about it, and excited, she bought it right away IF she could keep the logbook to show it around !

Might as well be the same with that boat !

For what their group has spent on racing over the years there is no way it has given a positive financial return, it has however made them a household name for people who are into performance boating. Mark is a competitive racer at heart and loves watching his team run upfront which has given us fans some incredible memories over the last decade. The events that they continue to hold at LOTO are an absolute blast "nothing better then spending time with your customers and like minded friends." If you have never attended one, you need to put it on your bucket list--lots of boats show up and lots of laughs take place....
