Interesting, I don't think we've had a Toronto race in over 25 years.

2001 Offshore Grand Prix of Canada
Sanctioned by APBA. Held in Mississauga not far from Toronto. As I recall some people had trouble crossing the border because of banned items.
Dry pits were at a shopping mall called Square One. I think it closed Saturday at 5 or 6 pm. Launch ramp was very busy due to a fishing tournament
the same weekend.
We placed second in Outlaw Performance Class 5.Can't help but wonder how many teams from Florida will make it. Passports are now required.

Pretty exciting (from a racer based in upstate NY) to have Atlantic City, Freeport, Toronto, Michigan City and Chicago on the 2025 offshore schedule. Mich and Chicago are a hike, but still closer than any of the fla races.

I like the idea of Norther races in the heat of summer. Racing in the south in the middle of summer can take the fun right out of it. Just imagine sitting in your car with a helmet and vest on windows up and 95 degrees out and no A/C then convincing yourself that it's fun lol
