Guys,

So... for those who might be considering attending, where's a decent place to stay? Not too spendy, but safe and comfy. Just kicking around the idea right now.

Thanks. Brad.

There are a few house's near HUB's (host marina) that are rented out during the event. but you'll need to book early. Also a few small hotels within 10 min or less from the marina as well. If you have a camper there are a few places really close with full hook ups, which is what we do.

Most all dock spaces have power.
Good clean close (2 miles) reasonable priced accommodation is Relax Inn & Suites in Kuttawa (Pet friendly also)

Appreciate the info. Don’t have shore power, so that’s a non-issue, although we might be convinced to just stay on the boat anyhow. We stay overnight Saturday night at the Cumberland PokerRun.

It will probably boil down to whether the CFO is working that weekend or not. How far out do you suppose one would need to book a room or a dock slip?

Thanks. Brad.

Yes, actually there are a few that do stay on the boats. If you decide to come this year then we are getting Eddie and Rachelle to come up.

Dock slips are free and no issue finding a place to tie up around the docks. I would probably guess you would want a place booked around the first of April at the latest,

Young?
He`s an hour away but that would be great, if the engines are in I could used some in boat fine tuning.

I don't know if this interests you, Brad, but might be worth a look. From the Kuttawa Cannonball Run Facebook page:

New for 2025, we have partnered with the Lake Barkley State Resort Park to offer accomodations in Cadiz, KY.
Registered participants can call (270) 924-1131, select option 1; ask for the Cannonball Run group or use code 3575. You will need a credit card to guarantee the reservation, and will not be charged until check in. The property has a 48 hour cancellation policy.
20-mile trip by water and approx. 40 minute drive by land.
We are currently arranging a shuttle for transport between the State Resort Park and Hu-B's at Kuttawa Harbor for those who are planning their stay at the Lake Barkley State Resort Park
