Good evening everyone, I feel like I’ve exhausted every option for this question but have come up empty handed, and I’m hoping someone here may be able to help me. Does anyone happen to know the bow eye to transom length for the 1988 242SS by chance? I dont have the boat local and am in the process of buying a trailer for it, but want to make sure I purchase the right size and have it set up right before I pick up. Thanks in advance!

I'll be at mine sometime late this week, I think. I will measure for you. I'll call my buddy that also has one and ask him to measure for you. I should be the same as a 242 LS.

That would be greatly appreciated!! I am located in the Virginia Beach, VA area.

That measurement is 21' 7" That is from a plumb bob hanging directly above the bow eye to the transom, NOT around the side of the boat.
I hope that helps you and don't forget that a 242LS has exactly the same bottom, rub rail to bottom as our SS's so it is OK to find a 242LS trailer also.
