great to hear the dates for this event got changed,,,,
as helps out other race events not overlap lap on same weekend
also helps for local folks like me that do fun/poker runs and boating event weekends
as our local texas outlaw challenge is usually the same weekend of june 20 window
so now can go to no race and following weekend at outlaw
also matt isnt the tickfaw event being ran by new people and hosting from blind river this yr
saw some info on that,,,,

yea went to tickfaw last summer and was disappointed by lack of boats for the run
as the grand opening of blind river bar was packed with all the people and boats
there i had a good time
but no boats running around the 2 lakes was disappointing
versing the pre covid days of groups of boats running all over
and at different stops
just talked with a local that said people were upset on the 2 seperate events
and they they now are combing it together back to the tickfaw 200
who knows whats going to be like
i just like putting on miles with groups of boats

yes lot has changed. lack of effort, stubbornness and just plane not knowing from the organizers. they had actually never been to the event before buying it from what i understand and not boaters. its not that they cant learn but time is ticking. this is how the blind river run came about. they also own boupldoos, the fule dock, and charlies all right there lot going on.
