Folks,

I may need to redo the paint on the 28 Skater, and if that is the case, I could just as well replace the 2001 paint job with something else.

I can get the job done locally with excellent quality, but I need a design for the painter to work from.

I know there are a few folks out there who design paint jobs for boats, but I don't know their styles.

I am not looking for a shouty, crazy, chaotic design, but rather something toned down, classic. Like Dale Rayzor's Relentless, but smaller.

Any recommendations for whom I should use?

Thanks for the kudos Markus, I have three different designers I've worked with that I could recommend. Chris Dilling at Grafik Efx (386) 547-1856 worked with me on creating the renderings for my original 30 Prototype paint job (painted by Steve Schulte at Skater), Thomas Kulesia at No Coast Design (574) 596-3035 did the renderings and masks for the second 30 Prototype paint job (painted by Chris Mills at Boat Customs) and Chris Mills (517) 712-3512 and I (an all-night/morning on Chris's computer at his house) did the renderings for my 36 "Relentless" paint job that Chris painted. Any of them will create renderings for you for your painter to use and I'd recommend any of them to create whatever vision it is you have for a paint job on your 28; however, it may not be easy to get any of the 3 to be able to dedicate the time to work with you. It just depends on how busy they are with other projects at the time.
