You suppose that will flow enough? I know I've only got about a 1" passage through the transom assembly, but it's 1-1/4" hose everywhere else....??

Thats looks like a standard Groco ARG strainer.. With a 1" thread, this is the pressure drop... I'm not sure what qualified as "acceptable" pressure drop but I imagine if you keep up with cleaning it, this one would be fine.. Gotta figure the sum of all these holes is probably 10X the size of a bravo water hose LOL

Thanks for the offer, but I have acquired one. It's considerably bigger than I need (sounds like yours might be even bigger), but I think I can make it work. If I run into an issue, I'll reach out.
