Any one know of a manufacturer of a harmonic balancer install tool that has the longer reach 1/2 x 20 pilot adapter that is 3" or so? Some bbc crank manufacturers recess the crank snout threads in starting at 2.25" and go for1". The adapter would need to be 3.25" I am thinking. I have some grade 8 all thread but would much rather have an installer tool. I just can't find one.??? Thx, Bob

I am just curious what crankshaft you have that has the threads recessed that far ?? I have been doing this stuff for 35 years and cant say I have ever seen one.
