Yeah our little run has grown over the past few years. We used to just have a couple of 100+ boats last 2 years there have been a good many 100+ boats. Friday lunch run is smaller and less crowded on the water. But Saturday blast off is packed. The locals that don't do the run line a stretch of about 10 miles of water. They are good about staying out of the way. They do a rolling start. Fast boats up front. Its an organized mess lol. If want to hammer down stay close to the start boat. Again if can offer any help send me a pm.

Question for returning participants from a first timer ... what's your guess for average speed the group runs after blast off? We are beyond excited for the whole weekend!

Wow that is a loaded question. Normally 120ish boats and 10 stops. You can hit cover over 100 miles or 20 miles depending on what stops you want to hit. Most boats run to Hartwell Marina for first stop. Then folks break off into smaller groups. Had some buddies come down from OH 2 years ago. We stayed mid 80s most the day. Running up to Clemson marina and Harbor light Marina those sections of lake tighten up some so most folks slow too 60ish. For the start get out there early pick you folks want to run with. When Todd starts the rolling start be ready. Once he sees boats all going same way he lights the flare which happens kinda fast. Last couple of years the start had folks running 120+
Again if any questions or can help any way up to or even day of let me know.

Great videos, thanks for sharing those. I don't see us running at the front, breaking in a new motor still. Haven't decided yet if we're putting in at Broyles or Green Pond since we are local (3 miles from Broyles). I will have more questions!
