Hello boating folks. I am selling my Fountain 29 Fever and have someone potential interested. He does not live near me and has been burned buying a rotted boat, so has been wanting quite a few pictures which is totally understandable. He will more than likely have a survey done as well. I shot a video for him and in the video he notices some cracks, that quite frankly I never really noticed or payed attention too. I am wondering how bad these really are? I use the boat still, but not as much as I like, hence the selling it. I am not wanting to take a bath on it either. I am asking 42k, and he has already got me down to 40k and I keep the spare outdrive. This is not a I need to sell situation, so if I keep it it's not a huge deal to me. I am just wondering how big of deal these really are. He is making it sound like the boat is unuseable because of these cracks. Sorry they are not the best pictures.

Thanks for any input. I posted this in the Fountain forum as well but there is not much traffic there.

Yours looks to be weak spots in the fillets due to (most likely) air voids in the layup which is very common on factory produced boats... It takes a lot of time and patience to get all the air voids out of corners and tight spots..
The funny thing is Tcarps looks more like delamination of the fiberglass.. You can see in his, it failed along the edge of the glass tabbing, where yours is cracked in the middle of the radius.
At the end of the day, the fix is the same.. grind it down to bare glass and epoxy in some new 1708 tabbing, paint, and go boating.
Lots of good videos on youtube.
