Interesting to me that they chose to use Skater's model numbering system ending in 8, with their first model being a 428. Skater's model numbering system ending in 8 started with the 368, as it was a 36 widened 8", thus becoming the 368 with its own mold. For over 20 years now multiple Skater models have ended in 8 - 368, 388, 308, 318, 438, 588 and the soon to be released...............

I wonder why they picked O'Fallon, MO... is it because of the close proximity to MTI for trained employees?
