502 Mercruiser MPI Fuel pump

Fuel pump $900 For a fuel pump. What the hell? Not even the hole Canister. Looks like a $100 pump.
Who built this that it don't even have a cooler?

Merc electric pumps for cool fuel are NLA. I believe they only sell the entire cool fuel system. You can get aftermarket pumps all over for less than $200
