I've been following this 71 year old mans trek for the last week, he's doing the great loop in a 16' Jon Boat with a tiller handle Tohatsu! He started the loop July 12 in Pensacola and he came through our neck of the woods late yesterday evening and is on the lower part of KY lake this morning headed to the Gulf of America! I'm surprised he is not still waiting on the Kentucky Dam Lock, they are soo backed up.

I know, with Barkley being down all traffic is through KY. I had read on FB that the lock operators are all helping him out, which is pretty cool!

I have been, a bit. Man he nearly destroyed that boat in SC and made it to Michigan? before he found a welder that could repair it.

Yeah, he was lucky on that one. Guess he fell asleep and ended up in the marsh.
