Default Hynautiq Oildyne trim tab pump

My trim tab pump quit working, this boat has this old Hynautic trim tab setup.

Where can I purchase a replacement pump asap? Id like to get the boat on the water this weekend

Looks like any power trim / jack plate / trim tab / tunnel tab pump.

Unless there is something special about how much (or little) it flows, so that your tabs move at least at reasonably similar speeds, you should just be able to pick up an Oildyne style trim pump from a local dealer, eBay or someone like Teague or CP.

Green down (like the green grass - I guess a brownish yellow would be more appropriate in SoCal)
Blue up (like the sky)
Black ground

Now, the big debate is whether motor oil or hydraulic fluid should go in the reservoir...

By the way, have you tried connecting the pump directly to electric power to make sure that it is the pump and not the relays?

On tabs the green (low pressure) / Blue (high pressure are reversed. Very confusing! Blue = down, Green = up.
As Markus says check the relays.

Hardin seems to do blue up, green down like trim.

they always say that but most pumps are higher pressure on the up side than the down side. going down on a drive is easy as the prop is pushing it that way and it takes more pressure to overcome that to trim up. on a tab the opposite is true. it takes more pressure to push down than up so you switch them around. I have done it that way on every race boat and pleasure boat I have rigged (more than I care to count) but for some reason all the manufacturers show one way to hook them up no matter that application.

Thanks!

Good to know. Thought the pressure was the same on both ports of the pump.

With my single K-plane used as tunnel tab, it does not matter, but I am now curious enough to check how it is wired...

Thank you guys. Yes i did jump power directly to the motor and it wouldn't work. I can also hear the relays clicking when I operate the tab switch but it seems the motor is locked up.

Hopefully I can pick one up before the weekend. Thanks!
