Default Moisture Meter

What is the best moisture meter that everyone likes? I know from reading it seems readings can swing all over the place. Just wondering what people have used and if the results seem consistent.

I've alway wondered what setting for a transom since thick fiberglass covers the wood your testing, but I guess it's not drywall or brick.
