It seems that the Mod V Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/supervracing) would be a more effective and appropriate forum .
I am genuinely curious.

Asking respectfully: Why air this offshore racing grievance here? What's the end-goal?

Eric Colby did a great job with Englewood coverage and did report a DQ in Mod V. The team that received the DQ opted not to comment. We left it that.
The problem with controversies that happen during races is they invariably are "he said/he said." Our is not one of adjudication—that role belongs to the sanctioning bodies. We report what is reportable at the time. If something changes, a result changes are we are made aware of it (mind-reading is one one of my weaker skills
) we report it.That editorial policy, in my view, is the most responsible and achievable.
Week In News is a seven-day collection of news we have published. In any given week during the season, offshore racing stories can make up half of the total volume. Off-season? Not so much.

I understand your desire to bring whatever controversy into public light. So I suggested another option.

Please, no apologies necessary at all. By way of explanation, our editorial policy as it applies to offshore race coverage is pretty simple: Let the litigants litigate. If a result is changed we report when the sanctioning body goes public with the decision.
