Default Mercruiser 496 MAG HO Fuel Injectors

good day, I would like to buy new fuel injectors from Delphi (OEM). BMotorsports and Herko.com offer the ones with 44 lb/hour (460 cc/min) and a coil resistance of 12, on the other hand there is FiveOMotorsports and others who offer the same OEM number with a 12,5 Ohm resistance and lasst there is Summit, that offer th esame number with 42lb/Hr (440cc/min.
My original ones have all a resistance of 12 and the OEM number is 25348180.

Has anybody an idea what would be best to buy?

thx a lot

Marc

Why not just have your injectors cleaned and flow tested??

I just thought for round about 100 USD a new setup would be better after 18 years. Cleaning and teting would be also 40 USD each

I would clean the old ones. It should be $200ish to do 8.

The new ones are a crap shoot and most likely flow different than the stock ones which will affect your tune. Most of the time in a bad way.

Clean the old injectors. For the prices listed for those new Chicom injectors, they should give you.a free hand grenade.

Marc,

I have a set of recently tested/verified OEM injectors I could be talked out of. I had an engine failure and, initially thinking the injectors might have been the cause, I sent them to Smitty (ArcticFriends here on OSO). He flowed them and they tested perfect.

Thanks. Brad.
