Yup.
A few engine builders did that mod to the OEM intake for more airflow and a few extra hundred more rpm that intake otherwise kinda flat lined at.

Tyler Crockett was one of the builders, i can't remember the others. Do a google search thru offshoreonly.com 500efi intake manifold modifications
