Looking for info and advise on suspension Seats. Boat is a VR 1 Velocity. Basically a set down boat. Wife is recovering from back surgery Not caused by boat or injury. She has some curvature of the spine and caused sciatica. Surgery went well and she should be OK and without limitations. However it has me thinking of suspension Seats. Neither of us are young...I am 77 and she is 73. Any one using them? Pros and cons? Price range? What brands?
Thanks

No experience with them, but they were in Tyson's 50 Skater build and you know he did his research SHOCKWAVE - Global Leader in Marine Suspension Seating

I would invest the time and effort to give them a “test drive”, somehow, before you invest.
I would suspect that she’s going to need her knees for absorbing impact without transferring shock to her spine, even with the suspension seats.

Expensive but work awesome!! I have these in my TUFF 36
Like riding on air - it takes some getting used to, cause the seat moves. Nothing we drive normally has seats that move.
Michael - call or text to discuss if you would like - ( five o four - 400 - zero two 7 6 )

I think something like this would work. I have them on my compact tractor and zero turn. They are adjustable and make an incredible difference (not sure on the strength capability but I am going to order one to look at it). Appears that it will be be easy to strengthen.

I have these Shockwave S5 models in my 30 Phantom and they work great. These adjust to the passenger's weight which is something they may all do but it it very helpful in smoothing out your ride.
