1989 Fountain hull. Chalky gelcoat. Anyone have experience with putting a vinyl wrap on something like that? I'm concerned it might not stick and be a waste of money(time). Can I just magic eraser, acetone it and go?

If it's chalky, you will still have to buff it out. Wrap won't stick.
