Big surprise that MCON wins.. Again...They have built the biggest, best team.

I have a question about the short laps. They did it in mod v and they said it was optional to do 2 short laps. Maybe I misunderstood. But if you option to run 2 short laps and the other teams don't. And you win that counts? Or ,do you have to do the 2 short laps when ever you want. And the announcers didn't quite catch when the teams were doing their short laps? It makes it confusing seeing who's winning. But I do think it's cool. And again, great coverage! Great job IHRA! Im looking forward to Cocoa Beach. We will be there,as that race has become an annual trip.

Great races with lots of entries. The Lake Wiley boys had their warning on the lap before they went over. It just lets you know how hard you have to push to stay up front (its like taking your scariest moment ever in a boat and making it last for 75 miles non-stop). I agree with the above comments "great coverage" and thank you to the IHRA crew for taking on the challenge to Make Offshore Great Again.

went Saturday and watched races from my boat,,,,,
and yes lake poncentrain is very shallow and with the wind blowing sat lake gets snotty
was out there anchored in a narrow 32 hustler and she was a rocking from the waves,,lol
all the race teams did great in the no pattern snotty water conditions
noticed on a start some boats missed the outer turn bouy
now makes sense why if had choice of when to take 2 short laps
ihra did a great job not having long lags between classes
didnt get to stay for sunday but still had a great time

the average depth is 12-15' across the lake with the deepest spot being in the 60s by the old air port.
