I’ve never met or spoke to Joe. I knew of him through my good friend Henri Abbadie of Performance Marine Specialties who always spoke very highly of Joe. A number of Henri’s customers have purchased several Hustlers, like 4 and 5 over the years, incredible! Yes, I will confirm they are Quality builds.

Loved our 388. Spoke to Joe a couple times when we had it and was always helpful. Had a log of all the boats built/sold, who owned, how many owners, where sold, options etc. Cool to trace history on them or what was known about them. RIP.

We have 2 Hustlers a 388 and 25 Talon, and Joe was always available to speck to me about any Q's I had about our boats. Great guy! RIP Joe!

The more people I talk to about Joe who knew him, the more I hear about how great of a person he was, from coast to coast and overseas. Short video of Joe and Bob Teague at the 2019 Miami Boat Show.

Have had four Hustlers. 266 (still have), 344 Cheetah, 388 Slingshot, 388 Sling-Rockit? (Still have).
Have spent hours on the phone with Joe over the years asking questions about the boats we’ve owned. He was 100% honest and knew every one of them inside and out. Very personable and always answered our calls. He built our final 388 and kept us in the loop every step of the way.
Huge loss to the industry and Hustler, really enjoyed the times we had spoken. Wish I would have flew to NY to actually meet him and see the facility. RIP.
