Why would the VP want to run one with 400Rs and not the 500Rs?

Probably only 3-5 mph slower, run 87 octane swamp water fuel, get WAY better mpg, just sayin.....

Two reasons=cost and simplicity. The 400 V10 package is great and offers incredible throttle response.

At first glance it reminds me of the WHM race boat scheme.

Simply to see how the boat performs with 400s. Mr. Chiaramonte believes the M35R would perform well with those engines.
