His niece victim was killed by drunk driver a couple years after his conviction.

It was a fascinating story as the life of Officer Trout unraveled here in public.
A real page turner for months, because he owned a go-fast boat.

I think he was trying to get the probation and sex offender registration ended early a couple years ago.
