11 people hurt. Some seriously burned when the captain went to start his boat and blew up. Bystanders at The Sandbar said that three people were catapulted into the air. Coast guard and helicopter medivacs arrived very quickly. Sending the burned to three hospitals.
The accident is still under investigation. My money is that the bilge blower was never turned on.

Will bet heavy they didn’t run the blower before hitting the key.

Used to happen every season on Lake Erie.
