I have a new computer (HP 513n) that can make VCD's of my digital pics. These are not DVD's (although they play in DVD players) The software that does it is pretty weak, I can't adjust picture quality, it just plays 1 song over and over, etc. I don't have a dvd burner (yet) but these VCD slideshows are a great way to view pics. Do any of you have a recomendation for better software to do this?

I checked photojam3, but I don't want the file sharing.

I use a program called "Ulead DVD Picture Show". Haven't tried adding sound, tho.

you dont need a DVD burner to burn VCD or SVCD.

Buy roxio. If you dont and they find it is pirated, you will need to re install buner drivers every reboot!! (I know from experience)

I have roxio CD creader 5 & I though it was kind of weak also. I just thought I did not know how to operate the software & have not messed with it again. To make a CD that plays on the computer works great.

Get a copy of NERO. It will burn anything perfectly.
