The driving force behind the get together is Chris (the guy who runs riverracerx.com). He wanted to have a little gathering with the people that hang around his site (as well as hotboat.net). One of the board members also works for Truckin mag (Travis- AKA "HotHallet").

They wanted to do something on the trucks & boats...I think it's a good idea- most of us are proud of our trucks, too.

I wasn't there, but everyone said they had a good time.

I think he hangs around his board mostly...I see him on hotboat once in awhile.

The riverracerx Poker Run was his idea, and Todd from Joker's Wild helped, too. I think they had around 25 boats, or so.

Right on, I did actually see that in the truckin mag...Is it going to be an ongoing thing?? Cause I've seen some SICK trucks out at havasu pulling some SWEEEEET Boats!!

Yeah I hear ya...there's some serious machinery at Havasu...I think the coverage will only grow with HotHallet's pushing.

I think Chris wants it to be an annual event...I hope he does. It's funny, but the people you meet from the boards are the same people you've been seeing for years at Havasu...
