We stayed at Sandals Antiqua for 8 days. A great place to go. We didn't even have a car. We only left the property to go down town for 2 hours.

The scuba was so - so, a small wreck and little to no coral, at the three dives I did. But free as was everything else.

Lots of people wanting to braid your hair on the beach. But not by the pool. Lots of Europeans, that means topless beaches.

A nice relaxing vacation but not www.peterisland.com.

There are many other places I want to go before I'd go back. Like Aruba.

I'd try St Lucia.

We stayed at Sandals in in the Bahamas. My only complaint is they water down the liquor, and no Budweiser. One night I had 8 Long Island Ice Teas and barely caught a buz!! Then I through down about 5 shots of cheap tequila, and spent the rest of the night throwing up!!!!

We had a good time otherwize.

Stayed at Sandles St. Lucia several years back. Great pool, lot's of water activities, cruises, island tours (cost extra), great helicopter tour of the island.

The only thing I was not to impressed with was the food. They have four (or is it five) restaurants on site, and I found them all to be on the salty side....

Other than that, great time........ . Get the separate suites that are on the hillside next to the main building.

Been to sandals Royal Bahamian. Unless you are going there to get sauced fully every day , all day it will be tough to get your money's worth. service in the bahamas ranged from excellent to very poor. so average at best. They had 8 restaurants on premises and lets just say the food was average at best. for the money I spent at the sandals, next time stay at the wyndam crystal palace or Atlantis and still save money over what you get at sandals.

Bottom line, you need to drink heavily to even come close to getting your money's worth at sandals bahamas. If your not a super heavy drinker i would go the noninclusive route for superior accomodations, service, and fine dining. It puts you in control of how your vacation will be. Good Luck with your choice and hope my experience at sandals is the minority of all who go there.
