For those of you that are on duty this holiday...

A Prayer For Christmas Eve...

> Please make this, Lord, a silent night,
> This one night of the year,
> No sirens wailing through the dark,
> No shouts of hate or fear.

> No crumpled cars or twisted steel,
> No blood or tears that spill.
> No messages of grief to take,
> To homes that now grow still.

> Please, King of Peace, no drunken fights,
> That wreck the family tree,
> And all the dreams of some small child,
> Who clings, in fear, to me.

> Let travelers tread the tinseled streets,
> Safe from assault and harm.
> On this night, this special night,
> No red lights, no alarms.

> I'd like to be at home, Oh Lord,
> Where balsam scents the air.
> I hope the children don't wake up,
> Until I can be there.

> Please make this Lord, a silent night,
> No hate, or hurt, or crime,
> But if this cannot be, Oh Lord,
> Help get us there in time.

From our fire house to your home,
On behalf of everyone who serves, saves, and protects,
Have a safe and wonderful holiday season

A special thanks to all of you who work today , often going unnoticed , protecting our families and making this a safe holiday season.

Because you sacrifice time with your own families , we're able to spend time with ours knowing you're keeping an eye out for us all !!!!!!

Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year.

Hey Mark....plan ahead dude. I'm making pheasant and black bean enchiladas today, with home made spanish rice for the crew.
I know it's a little non traditional, but seeing how we worked Thanks giving too we wanted something different.

Merry Christmas guys. I think Too Old said it best. Our main business is closed three days a year, Turkey, Christmas and Easter. I also do some snow plowing, I had to go out and salt this morning, glad we did not get mcuh snow (about 1"and sleet and ice...pretty slick) becuase I would be out all day.

Hope all goes well for you guys at work, enjoy the day, no matter what you are doing.....
