Default Speed in Class

What really needs to be resolved is how we can be sure that a boat is in the right class. I know this will be a tough call to make by both the boat owner and the officials. 1-3mph is a tough call on the water but it can be an edge. Right now we have the best opportunity to field biggest number of boats to compete in all classes that this sport has ever seen. Hey ya never know with the Jersey crew driving this we could be on the ground floor of another NASCAR type revolution...

That sounds good, each boat would issued one prior to the start, turn it in at the end, top speed would be logged in GPS unit.

Marty,
Please have "Smitty and the Boyz" or whoever is working on this get with me sometime early next week. I also have been working on something and don't want to cross any streams or do anything that may undermine the other.
Thanks,
Mike "Gordo" Gordon
